My 1989 yamaha banshees j-arms are getting kinda old and the paint is all worn from the sand. I know of people croming their stuff. I wnat to know how you do that or get it done.

Look in the yellow pages under plating. I had my wheelie bar chromed & called all 15 places listed & only one took in outside work. It may even be tougher to get done in Calif with all the regs. You may need to ship them out somewhere but that could take awhile.
Have you considered Powdercoating?

You'll need to take them to be powdercoated. It's an electrostatic painting that is baked on & is very tough. The cost is about the same as chrome if the color is in stock & there is a wide choice of colors. I paid $80 for chroming my wheelie bar & it was the same to powdercoat it. Look in the yellow pages under powdercoaters.
You can see my wheelie bar on my Raptor on My Web Site
