This past weekend, water got in my Grizz's transmision. So I pulled the plug, let all of the water out, started it up, and it runs like nothing happened. Now my question is: Do I need to clean it out or take the cover off to check anything? Or do I just not need to worry about it? Thanks.

4x4,
was the water real clean, or sandy or muddy? if it was at all dirty water, then by all means clean the clutch out. i put mine into a mud pit, and drenched the belt. i drained it all out, and the 4 wheeler got me back to my truck, bout 5 miles. when i took it all apart, it was solid in mud. if i haddend took it apart, i would have surly ruened the clutch* $800.00 to replace!!! it isn't to bad to get apart, and yamaha has a special tool to remove the clutch itsself. ( i used my leather belt to hold it down, and that worked) if you need a step by step on how to get it all apart, i will shurly talk you through it. if not, i would say better safe than sorry!!! good luck buddy!
