I thought I would post how much difference a professional polish and port makes on a raptor, about 7 months ago i went to a 686 config, had my yam dealer bore and hone my cylinder and do what they called a polish and port to go with the "race profile" 80-421 webcam. while I get a noticeable increase in power, it felt like something was missing, earlier this month I sent my head in to trinity to have a pro-port with combustion chamber modification (polish and port), their service was quick, the work was excellent, and power increase was awsome, probably one of the biggest inceases of any of the mods i have done, my raptor went from fast to wicked fast, it pulls so hard now I am just amazed at the difference. thanks to the crew at trinity you did a great job[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Why won't the polish and port help a stock motor? No cams and pistons other than the stock ones. TIA
