anyone tried reversing the front wheels on a Raptor?

Raptor wheels are the same as warrior wheels,,I reversed them on my 01 warrior,, Drilled out new holes for the valve stem and pluugged the old ones by installing a valve stem backwards..The rears U just turn around...Made it about 48 1/2 in wide with my Bandits on front and dirt devils on rear,,,also handled way better

Mine are flipped and I installed Mr Gasket "flush mount" valve stems, Part #5102 (about $17). Saves you from having to drill 2 more holes in your wheels and also allows you to flip them back without having to change anything.

Mine are flipped around and I love it. The only problem I have, which might not be related, are tie rods bending and breaking. You should add a steering stabilizer it makes the bars jerk wourse. I am going to leave them like this until I can get some a-arms.

Go to ricky stator .c__ they have tie rod update kits for yamaha,,,are 10 times stronger with lifetime warranty ! ,,solid honda utility type ends..I was breaking and bending stock ones every time I rode,,,These are kickasss... I rode hard , jumping ,and had one of the updated oned loosen up a bit and Ricky stator replaced the entire set for nothing !!No questions asked..

Agree! The stock rods and ends are a week link on the Raptor. If you ride your bike hard, you will need the Ricky Stator tie rod kit. This should be an automatic purchase if you do a rim flip. There is an extra ordinary amount of pressure placed on the tie rods and ends when the front end is widened in this manner.
