I remember reading somthing on this a little while back, but now I have my carbs off. Was wondering what to do & how to do it, and if it's even worth messing with.

I took a sanding drum with my air grinder set on low. Take a little off at a time & put it back on to see where you are. I took each one off & on about 5 times till they were right. The intakes don't fit tight on the studs so make sure their lined up the same each time you check them.

Use some lithium grease on the o-rings when you go back together, it makes it easier & helps the sealing.

If it's worth it or not I don't know for sure but I gained 6/100th of a second in 100 yard sand drags. was it the match porting or something else? I can't say for sure but the theory behind port matching is sound & they were quite a bit off.
