i have been trying to gey rear break pads for my 2002 grizzly for 2 weeks. i have ordered them 2 times, and neither dealer can get it right! i am going away for a week on wednesday, and now dealers want $80.00 for the pads and shipping, when they havent got the order right yet! can you get them quick, and ship them to me? i know this is alot to ask, but it has been a planned trip for 6 months, and i had no idea all the dealers near me were complete incompitents! spend $15,000.00 on quads at a dealer, ask them for help, and they laugh at you, and try to screw you, doesn't make any sence to me. anyway, if you can get them, it would mean alot to me, if not, i do understand, it is quite a short notice.

Those rear pads on the grizz have loads of meat on them, how'd you wear them out so fast? or have you been through several sets of front pads already too?

Ron,

I posted a note in another thread...

Dealer said 13 bucks for reg pads and 23 for heavy duty.

Let me know....they will be in Tuesday and i will check then to make sure that they are the right ones....

I am sure they are...The dealer here is pretty nice to me...dont know why! lol

elrancho,
I have no idea how i went through them so fast. i have under 60 hours on my quad, but i am always in mud, sand or total crud, so maybe that was it. i have not even dented my front pads yet, so go figure, lol.

frogman, how can you get the pads so cheap? my dealer has lost my business so bad it aint even funny. 3 dealers, 2 differant orders, and 3 sets of pads, all the wrong ones!!! now they are charging me $80.00 to get them for me, couse i have to pay 2 day air for them. we are looking at new quads for the wife and kids, bey ya they wont be yamaha's, and thats just sad!!!i got to tell ya's, these dealers around here are pitiful, and i can see why people buy hondas over yamahas here, couse the dealers are reliable.

sorry to hear that ron...

The dealer here is "out for the all mighty buck" just like alot of them are. Its just that we have an understanding. I am an *** and he knows it...lol

Like i said, i will find out tuesday if they are the right ones. Trust me though, i bet he is figuring that HE will be putting them on and that is where he will make his money back.....WRONG, i am doing it myself (at bro's house).

I use to have several tools, jacks, stands, STUFF...but not anymore. Ever since the injury, i have slowly let everything go. NOW, i wish that i hadnt. Guess i start all over, and slowly start collecting all the tools again. DANG, have the prices on tools went up! Looks like a couple of thousand just to make a small shop like the old one...lol

Sorry mich. As much as I would like to help you, I don't go back in till Tuesday and we all know that Next Day Air is just a phrase and doesn't really gurantee anything.

I sell the EBC brand and sell them for $26.95

I would suggest you try finding them in stock somewhere. Maybe while you are on your trip????? I get guys that stop by while traceling all the time wanting to buy parts and accessories......a hundred different places to find your brakes on the way!!

Hope you find them and have a good trip.
