Am I correct in assuming that I can use the stock rims and just replace the stock rear tires (20x10x9) with Holeshots or Razr's that are sized 20x11x9? Any preference?

Are 4-ply's good enough or are 6 ply's that much better? I mostly do woods riding with only a little bit of rocky terrain. How much more does the 6 ply weigh compared to stock or the 4 ply?

Thanks in advance

If holeshots are made in that size, or any tire for that matter, it can be installed on your existing rims. 6 plys are a tougher tire and will withstand abuse a little better than 4 ply.

I'd recommend the Holeshot XC's. They fit beautifully on the stock rims, and you won't have to plug them after every ride (or in the middle of the ride) like you do with the crappy stockers. My stock rear tires have 90% of their tread on them and probably about 10 plugs per tire. They're sitting in my basement now collecting dust.

I've never had to plug the rears, but have abused the fronts badly. What 4 ply front is good?

I would tell you to run the Maxxis tires. They work great on the fourstroke machines.
Maxxis has a new tire to run for the woods, it has deeper lugs and is 6 ply.
Any 10 inch tire will fit on your stock rims.
My sugestion would be to invest in a set of beadlocks.
