any info on this machine. i want to here whats good or bad. does it seem to be a good machine? im a polaris guy switching brands

 

I dont know about the 03 models, but just to let you know about the 02's.

If you go into any amount of water/deep mud, i would put dielectric grease on the spark plug. Stiffening the suspension to the max or one down, seems to make for better handling. Easy mod of the side panel makes for keeping the engine cooler and a possible vapor lock that some (including me) have had. Look at different tires if you plan on doing anything different than hardpack and even then, they are going to WEAR quickly.

There really isnt TOO much, but you would think, after spending that much money on a quad, you wouldnt have to do anything...BUT, i love my griz, with the mods that i have done (not very many and not very expensive cept for the tires) this bike rocks.

OH YEAH....one other thing that i am still working on, is getting rid of the reverse limiter...it WILL cause ya problems if you are on any kind of hill or in mud and need to back up. GET RID OF IT!
