I think the Warrior is a pretty good machine for the woods but it seems like alot of guys want them to be sand draggsters...I don't think Yamaha designed them for that. Get some used Banshees and they probably won't complain!

Its all about USEABLE HP..Pine trees dictate how much HP you need whene it comes to our trails

What the hell is this crap about not beating a stock shee or a 400EX after spending thousands!? What the hell did they spend these "thousands" on!!!? lololol I rail stock shees and EXs (the EX really isnt THAT much faster then a stock warrior) and run with 440EXs and beat some of there asses too (depending on the mods). I am soon going to move up to the 430 kit and that should be interesting X_X!!
*I think the warrior was the first quad ever with electric start.

Man oh man... everyone obviously has dif. tastes in what type of riding they like to do. In my case I like to trail ride and the warrior is a good quad for it. Even better when you get the right mods for it. If I wanted to drag race I would'nt have even thought about buying a warrior(unless I was gonna stuff a bigger motor in it). Yeah their are raptors who do 80+ miles an hour at the dunes but how well will they do in the woods(not bashin anyone). But I trail ride cuz theres no dunes anywhere near me that I know of...lots of woods and trails so. It all just depends on what your into

(u need to spend some time and $ to get them realy tuned, like i did 400cc kit, hotcam kit, port polished, scorpion pipe, k$n, quick silver carb, stock size renthal sprockets, high rpm cdi box "1000rpm" razor 2 tires on shamrock rims, elka shox, durablue stock size rear axle, lone star +2 a-arms
i had a buddy follow me in his camaro, i hit 70 and my crankshaft bearing blew so now its in the shop gettting new bearings high rpm this time, if u have the money it can be 1 fast antique!)
well its fixed and the dyno said im putting out 52hp and 49fp time to race some stock yfz hahaha

That's a pretty loud claim for someone with such simple mods on a warrior.
