u need to spend some time and $ to get them realy tuned, like i did 400cc kit, hotcam kit, port polished, scorpion pipe, k$n, quick silver carb, stock size renthal sprockets, high rpm cdi box "1000rpm" razor 2 tires on shamrock rims, elka shox, durablue stock size rear axle, lone star +2 a-arms
i had a buddy follow me in his camaro, i hit 70 and my crankshaft bearing blew so now its in the shop gettting new bearings high rpm this time, if u have the money it can be 1 fast antique!

My own Warrior is what I would call fast. Raptor's and Shee's and their like are insane IMO, and I've no doubt that your Warrior would kill mine, there's lots out there that can, so Chill. Never said your machine was slow, just thought that killing stock Shee's and worked 440EX's with a 365 warrior was bit tough to swallow. If you truly can, the kudos to you bro!

*Why the hell do I do this stuff to a warrior? As someone else states for the sole reason of "wow did I just get roasted by a warrior?”

The thing is that yes my Warrior is 365 but raw displacement is not the only thing that determines HP output. Let me tell you dude if you can do one thing for that bike slap a cam and port & polish her with some oversized valves in there - DAMN. The 365 kit & the cam alone is like a 35% HP increase; your P&P can give you anywhere from 10 - 18 extra ponies too!!!. Then slap this **** on the dyno and f00k around with the timing tell you get some noice' results X_X! Man when I get the money next im going for the 430 stroker kit from powroll and im going to pay for a nice rod and better parts so she doesn’t explode on me. I WANT to see how many ponies I will push with the 430 kit and all the mods I have now and the nitrous X_X!

I def. will man and yes that is exactly what I mean when it comes to modding the warrior; its part of the fun. Now they dont even make the warriors anymore so im def. keeping my beast even if I do get another quad one day.

We all love quads here, and most of us love to mod them. So... why does it matter what quad someone mods? Maybe because after they mod a used Warrior to their hearts content, they have the same amount of money into it as a stock YFZ, but customed to their liking? That's the reason I'm considering modding the Warrior rather than selling it for another. I'll have to put out money to get a bigger quad after selling the Warrior, or I could just use the money and mod this one however I want. Anyways, mine's stock besides a cone K&N, front wheel spacers, and Razr front and rear tires but I can beat Blasters, 400EX's, Raptors, TRX450R's and Predators around this local relatively flat track. There was one Raptor and one 450R that I couldn't catch, but it doesn't mean my bike is better, or worse, than any of them. I just like how mine handles now, and can swing it around 90* turns in 5th gear, and all but the one Rappy and 450R couldn't. Was I a better rider than the ones I beat? Ya maybe, but I've ridden this quad 4 rides, and it's my first sport quad. There's a million reasons for the winnings/losings, and I didn't care, I was having fun.... on my WARRIOR. So, if putting a JE piston and Alba cam and spring kit, and full exhaust and jet kit will be cheaper than getting a 660R I want, then I'm going to do it. Not to mention, my top end is gone anyways. If someone likes their Warrior, they'll probably mod it. So what? A Warrior has plenty of potential for the right person. I'm happy with mine. It's great on the trails.
Sorry about bringing this thread back from the dead, but after reading all the arguements, I couldn't help it. Just freaking ride!
