Hey guys, lay off, Mark's a good guy, I've had some head problems, and Mark is being great in helping me. He also sold me some stuff at a VERY low price, and when I need help, he returns my calls, and tries his best to help me. I am 15, and just everyone doesn't call back a 15 year-old to help them. I think Mark's just looking for a little competition from the BIG BOYS!

COME ONE, COME ALL TO ALEDO!!!

Back to the motor subject. Do I need to apply any sealant when I put the head cover back on, and do I need to apply loctite to any of the bolts? I am putting red loctite on the cam gear bolts, but how about the head cover bolts? I looked, and it didn't look like they had loctite on them.

Read my other post bout my motor, I hope I will be up and running by NATIONALS.

No one from "THE COMPOUND will be going down to Aledo. All matches will be settled at FSW in front of everyone to see. So theres no BS involved and that's final!

Yes Adam, you will need to puchase some Yamabond-4. It is similar a Permatec gasket, but it doesn't bead up. Make sure you buy the right stuff. Hondabond-4 is the exact same thing if you can't fine the Yamaha stuff.

Also, in case you didn't get a tube of Cam Lube, you will need some of that too. You will want to put a good coat of oil on all the lobes before you close it down. You need this for the initial Cam break-in. If the HotCams have similar indicators as the WebCams do, you will find to small diameter holes on the cam that will be facing up.

Also.......THIS TIP IS HUGE!! Make sure that you remove the Cam Tensioner assembly bolt!! You will find it on the rear left side of the cylinder (jug). You should also purchase a new gasket for the Cam Tensioner as well. This will make putting the Cam Chain back on a whole lot easier. When re-installing the Cam Tensioner you will need to dissassemble it without seperating it completely. Insert it, and tighten it up again to the proper torque specs.

As I mentioned before, I too have some photos that may be of help. If you don't have a service manual, don't do it until you at least get copies of th pages you will need. If you don't have a friend close to hook you up with them, just P.M. me your e-Mail address and I will send them to you.

Just ask you need any further help.

Use blue. Red is permenant & can require heat to remove!!

14mins (Mark),

It looks as if I have roughled your feathers a bit, hu?

I have a suggestion for you 14mins. I think you should consider being a writer. A writer for a soap opera. With all the lieing, backstabbing, mood swings, pirating, blundering and crying I am hearing from you, you would be a NATURAL! Seriously, I think you could make a good living writing for something like “As The World Goes Round”. Please consider it and put your God given natural abilities to work for you!

Now, to address some of the things you are looking for me to comments on.

1- You want to race for cash now? Ok, sure. No problem. I have no problems with that! You know exactly what I run and how my motor was built. I have nothing to hide at all and accept your challenge!

2- I have to say something about you continually bringing up Trinity.
I have said this SOOOO many freakin times I am getting tired of saying it. If you want a “drag” Raptor from Trinity, just ask for it. Will it cost you? Sure, R&D isn’t free. Some of you guys have to remember something here. “IMO”, Harry is building Raptors to best fit his customers wants and needs. He is not getting a whole bunch of calls by Rap owners wanting drag race machines and when he does, he definitely has the ability to do so and there will be atleast a few at FSW’s. Remember though, it takes time to build. Time that some people just don’t want to wait for. Again, this all my opinion. Integrity and reliabilty are two, just to name a couple, of the biggest things Harry personally brings to the table. He has shown over and over again that he will not bash other builders and that he will stand 110% behind his motors. If you have to question this, pick up the phone, call and speak with him. It won’t take but less then 5 minutes for anybody to realize Harry is a genuine individual.

3- Who have I raced?
Oh geeze, nobody. I hate to race, I’m scared to race, going fast terrifies me and I get beat by stock Yamaha Breezes all the time. At FSW’s I will let everyone have a shot at me, but after 14mins (Mark) get’s his fill. I am not the fastest and anyone that speaks with me will attest to me never saying I am either.
It’s amazing 14, who do you think you are? Your not God’s gift to ATVing by any means. You talk the most and this shows what type of individual you really are.

4- What contributions have I provided to the sport?
Wow, ask alot of the folks on this forum who here is willing to give answers to questions continually. I share alot of info to many here. Whether it’s something little like specs directly from the manual to opinions on cams or what I think of my personal motor, I spend all the time in the world to help people make educated decisions. Sure, I give opinions, when their asked for. Some disagree and others take it for what it’s worth, just an opinion. Ask any of the early members here who was giving info when the first trannys were letting go. Unfortunately, I was one of the VERY early ones, but I spent countless hours providing info, sharing my reciepts for repairs and giving part numbers and part lists of what was damaged. I think that accounts for something, no?
What about you 14? Get your lips off somebodies rear-end and you have nothing to contribute, eh?

5- Improve the sport?
Again, I think I help others enjoy the sport more by educating, providing opinions when asked for them and sharing my real world experiences with atv’s. Unlike some people (14mins), I am not 2 faced and out to take from others. I and many others don’t have to ask ourselves what this last statement is about, we’ve spoken with you enough to know!

14mins (Mark), it’s time for you to face the real world here and now! You are not hurting me, Jay, Rob or anybody else by acting like this. In fact, I think all this **** you have talked lately has opened many eyes and shown them just what kind of person you are. You have lied, backstabbed, “tried” to pirate, pitted people against eachother and cried all too much repeatedly. Your out for yourself and help others in very limited ways. To be honest, the only thing I see you do for the sport is let people ride at your place, which IMO is limited as far as contributions to the sport!
