Kodiak fan problem - can it be repaired?

Kodiak fan problem - can it be repaired
Need help knowing whether a fan can be fixed or if anyone has installed one meant for a car. A new Kodiak fan is $360.
The problem is that it doesn't spin with battery power applied. I can tell that the motor is trying but the blade doesn't turn well even when trying to spin it manually. It requires constant force to get it to spin.
Anyone know if the assembly can be taken apart, cleaned up, and lubed?
