i bet 90 % of hondas atv sales are utilitys........I see so many frakin ranchers and formans around i swear people buy them by the dozen

 

Don't forget that these sales figures are for each brands Entire line-up. So naturally, a company with 25 different models is going to out sell a Co. with only 5 models. It's Basic Math. I would be really interested in seeing a break down by model. For me that would be more informative than an over-all total.

I've never seen a Cat either except in a showroom or a picture.

 

Anyone know the total sales figures for last year?

Would be interesting to know how the sport is growing.

wait...I OWN one.

Actually, I do see them around here too, perhaps the fact that they are MADE here in Minnesota contributes to that. Frankly, we see more Polaris machines (also made here) than anything else. Seconded by Yamaha sport machines.

I do wonder if the sales figures for Cats are skewed, though. I know AC sells machines to Massey Furgeson (sp?) to sell over seas under their own marque. Perhaps this sale from one company to the next is counted as a "US sale" in these figures?
