Is there a difference in the K&N Pro-design adapter plate and the Uni-filter adapter plate?

Does anyone know if it is the same plate sold for a Banshee? In other words, if you get a pro-design with the k&n filter and later decide to use the unifilter, will it work?

Thanks!

The difference is the K&N filter plate has a shorter flange to clamp the filter on to. If you get the Unifilter flange you can use either filter. You can do the same with the K&N version but you are more likely to have the foam filter fall off. I personally don't like foam filters but if you think you need it get that version so you can switch off when you decide to.
