Then I'm sure that you already know, King, that it is never too early to start for planning for next year.
One route that you guys might try to explore is to go through the AMA/ATVA. If you could get them to sanction the race then they would insure it. The only requirements that I can think of, off the top of my head for restrictions, is an ATVA membership and you have to be at least 16 years old. Everyone that has issues with the kids piloting the Sparks bikes could hit two birds with one stone.
That and you would have the weight of the AMA behind you.

My $.02
Regardless of of what the BLM did and the unofficial nature of the event we all know who had the fast bikes, the reliable bikes, and all got to see a LOT of really fast 4 strokes smoke up Olds Hill. There was a lot more to the event than just racing classes of 4 strokes up the hill. Personally, I was there to watch the races, ride Glamis and meet a LOT of GREAT people from the forums. For me - mission accomplished.

Kingraptor,
I was not able to attend, but I sure have enjoyed reading all the posts pertaining to FSW.
It looks to me I could bring a completely stock 01 Raptor and have a good time too.

Bat, Yep... I stopped by Sunday afternoon and you were gone but I'll see ya once the weather gets nice. Yes, long drive. About 22 hours of driving each way.
BlueLeader... My back is doing better. Went to the doctor yesterday and the xrays show everything to be where it is supposed to be and such. Basically strained muscles and spasms. Have prescriptions and therapy helping out a lot. Again, thanks for being there when I wiped out. I truly believe your experience in these matters and quick actions to help me out is what let me ride (slowly) the rest of the trip and aiding my recovery. I know there were others there helping but I was a little dazed. Not so dazed that I don't remember someone (MichaelAZ I'm pretty sure) trying to take advantage of me from behind. BTW, as was mentioned I really do think that doing FSW in a "free" state would be better - of course it's not my event either. Glamis has so much political attention from all sides that anything you do there is too closely scrutinized and covered in red tape. I would think Sand Mountain Nevada or Little Sahara, Utah would be good places for something like this.
