Boots, helmet, gloves, and goggles...I'm proud to say that my daughter will never know any other way to ride...we went a few rounds when she got the boots but I won[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

The style of boot has alot to do with comfort as well. If you don't mind sacraficing a little protection try out the SIDI. They make some that are more for quads than a MX track. They have cleated soles so you can walk in them alot better than regular boots. Most importantly, when buying boots TRY THEM ON!!!!!!!!! Thats how I chose mine, O'Neil Matrix.
To soften your boots up try LOTS of mink oil. I did that before I ever wore mine and I never had a problem. Mink oil can be found at any western style boot store. Just put it on untill it absoluetely will not take any more.
