What is the difference between B8Ev plugs and B8Es plugs... I know the B8EV plugs are more expensive because they are "paladyium" or something like that... my question is has anyone tried both.. will I see a difference in power if i go from the more expensive b8ev's to the b8es's in stead? will it affect my drag racing? my friend said that when he switched to the paladium plugs it uped his hp by 1.5 on his alba raptor....
these of course will be for my Banshee.....
thanks

Thats a lot of HP just from a spark plug. The difference is in the construction(material) of the electrode. I'd be surprised if someone could tell the difference when given the "pepsi challenge"

I used Platinum plugs on my 250R, they lasted longer & were less prone to foul
I just use the stock NGK's in my Raptor & change them every 20 hours when I adjust the valves & change the oil.
YOU WILL NOT GET A HP GAIN FROM USING A DIFFRENT PLUG. That's just a marketing ploy.

Theoretically you could gain a very small amount of HP by using a different plug. The iridium and other "fine wire electrode" plugs have less mass and surface area around the electrode. This equates to more airspace. If more air/fuel mixture can get into the area of the spark, you would get a quicker, fuller burn, and maybe slightly higher cylinder pressure.
I am just saying what seems logical to me. Feel free to shoot my theory down. I think AlkyburninX uses Iridium plugs in his banshees. Maybe PM him about his thoughts.

Since the electrode is smaller there is more space in the combustion chamber so there will be a compression loss so you would actualy lose power!!! LMAO!!!
