What does everyone think about gapping plugs?
Ive heard so many things about gapping plugs. Myself, since I had my first dirtbike when I was 6 had always gapped plugs. Ive heard people say that it comes from the factory with a "common" gap, but is .015 really a common gap? NO its not. I had a friend who would totally freak out about gapping, and wouldnt do it no matter what. I know that if I dont gap the plug, it runs way crappier than if I do gap.
What do all of you think? Ive actually had a person at an auto zone tell me not to gap the plug because it comes with a common gap. So I pulled a spark plug gapper from the counter, and showed him that it came with a .015 gap and a stock banshee, according to yami, should have a .028 to .032. He wasnt a teenager or anything either, it was kind of shocking.

I don't know if this is right but I use Split Fire plugs with a .032 gap and mine runs great. I've tried NGK's etc. and have fouled them out in less than an hour of running. My Split Fire Plugs have been in there for about a year now with no problems. I ordered them through O'Rielly's for a RZ350 street bike.
