to compensate for cold air night rides I take my K&N off and put on a more restrictive foam filter to keep from going lean.

What ever happened bubba? My guess is he was having a hard time getting it dialed in using dynojet kit.

Alright! Heres the results! I ended up getting 67.9 HP from it!! The curve looked great and smooth and reved all the way to over 10k rpm's! I gained almost 13 HP just by jetting it properly (54.2 to 67.9)! I don't have the dyno printout yet (but I did see it) cause he said it ran out of ink and he'll send me it through the mail next week. I ended up with wierd jetting, used stock pilot, air screw out 3 turns, dynojet needles on 4th clip, and makuni main jets at 160/165. I'm sooo happy with the outcome, it was looking like I wasn't gonna get over 60 horse but HELL YA! I can't wait to get to the dunes this saturday! I'll post a scan of my dyno printout when I get it.

Excellent. What was the jetting when you dropped it off?? You have to raise the stock needles too high with mikuni jets in my opinion.

Did he try larger DynoJet mains??
