Took my quad to the dyno! *updated*
Dudes - chill out.
First off, are you all working on Dynojet dynamometers? If so, you need to SUTRACT 12% from your HP numbers because Dynojets are a bunch of marketing hype. I'd suggest going to a Superflow or Mustang dyno - which can simulate the weight of your ATV, and actually place a load on it. ESPECIALLY if you're tuning mixture - you should leave it a little rich on the Dynojet, because in the real world your motor is probably pushing more weight than the drum on the dynojet dyno...
I only say this because the past year we've been building "Fast Streetcars" and we've become fans of, and purchased, a Mustang dyno. When you do some research on dynos, you'll see what I'm talking abuot. Dynojets are popular because they're cheap to buy.
