Default Took my quad to the dyno! *updated*

The original setup I had when I took it in there was 27.5 pilots, air screws 2.75 out, stock needles on 3rd clip, 195/200 makuni mains.

man bubba i did some jet work but i don't think i got 13 horse more, funny that you had to jet down that is the way i'm going also. well hope to see that thing run soon.

Very impressive. Might we inquire as to what it cost you to get all this dyno time? TIA

So much for the theory of not useing Dyno jet needles and Mikuni mains.

ya, it's pretty hard to get 13 hp just from jetting unless your wayyyyy off! The guy said that 4-strokes are really picky on jetting but get lots of HP when they are right on and that the best thing on the dyno is to be patient with it (especially the rappys cause its annoying to jet).

I paid dearly but 13 HP is worth paying for! I spent just over $300, 4.5 hours on the dyno + some jets.

i didnt think it was possible to use d/j needles and mikuni jets am i missing soimething???
