Dude...you luck'd f'n out. this guy was not doing you a favor. i'm sure he added those mods so you would'nt recognize it. Hell, take him to court and make him pay and replace everything with new stock parts. then find out if he has a dog and kick it. No, actualy that not good enough...how about showing up to his house while he's in the clink, and roost the f out of his front lawn.

anyways, if i were you. i'd go out right now and buy a scratch ticket before my luck ran out

 

Hehe. I don't know what the thief's name was. All the parts were brand new (some still had the price tags on them). I guess when you steal a quad you can spend your money on parts. As far as I know, mine was the only one they found.

The sheriff's department was out in a helicopter looking for drugs and saw something in the middle of the woods covered up with a tarp. When they sent a car to investigate, they found my Raptor with the keys in it! They weren't the same keys it originally had (I still had those), but they work [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Anyway, it's now locked up at another secured location, and I insured it through Progressive. One bitten, twice shy, right?

That thief probably doesn't want to come anywhere near my house when he gets out of jail. Only a low-life POS would steal a man's quad while the man was at church!

 

I only wish I would be so lucky. lol, new parts, thats chuckle-worthy.

Around here the only luck of someone getting there rides back, is when they get fished out of the bottom of a strip pit or they find them stripped down with nothing on them.
When I was the first one around here to get my Raptor back in September of 2001, my Raptor was on the minds of a couple of guys list to be jacked, luckily it never happened but they tried. Congats on getting it back along with the freebies.
