Default Taotao 110 cc no spark

Bought this in 2007. No problems til last week. Kids were riding and it quit running. Hasn't started since. I'm pretty stupid when it comes to these 4 wheelers. I have checked spark plug , no spark. i put a test light on all 5 wires coming out of motor from stator. All showed spark except green, I'm assuming it is ground, and the blue and white wire did not show spark. According to diagram I have of cdi, that wire goes to timing trigger. Any ideas?

so you have no fire signal on the coil wire, right? , does it have a rear tether kill switch? did it activate? i presume all quick connects are connected and you did a tug test on all of the wires at the CDI on the connectors? have you tested the kill switch on the left handlebar to make sure it ain't killing the spark?

just curious cause you haven't stated this: but have you tried a different spark plug? i've had no spark conditions before on some quads, changed the spark plug to the comparable NGK and BAM, had spark. it's worth a try.
but you may need to check out what i listed earlier unless you already ruled them out as culprits.

I can't believe it but it was a $2.13 spark plug. thank you. I sure thought it was something more complicated.
