I work on very few bikes with winches, most farmers don't feel the need for one, as they know where to avoid on their own land, and can pull it out with the tractor if they need to. I do fit a lot of heated grips, and the grips themselves rarely last more than one year. If the warning light (if fitted) on the switch is on, and the grips don't work, suspect the heater elements in the grips. Check with a voltmeter or test lamp, if power is getting to the connector that each grip plugs into.
torque specs, hey just woundering if you would know the torque specs of my yamaha kodiak 400 rear brake line, like the bolts that go on it.

Never felt the need to torque anything much up except cylinder head bolts, but I am used to "spannering." If you don't feel confident, buy a workshop manual, as this will give torque figures for most critical parts.

Default Heat demon hand warmers yamaha kodiak 400 fuse

Hey I have a problem with a fuse on my yamaha kodiak 400 4x4 I did some inspecting and found that when I turned on the whinch when the hand warmers were on and it blew the 10A accessories fuse and I was able to get the winch on and then the second I turned on the hand warmers it would blew again, I think there is a short in the hand warmers I would hate to replace them and find out the same problem is happening. If anyone can tell what is going on it would be greatly appreciated!
