I found a Current production 250cc 2-stroke sport quad. And its not a gas gas!

I was looking around on the net and found what appears to be a pretty fast new quad. Scroll down their home page and look at the specs. Tell me what you think.

It may or may not be a Chinese knock off of the 250r. The quad has a claimed dry weight less than the blaster. It is called the Kr250rr. Here is what they had to say about it.
New" "The KR250RR is the "Fastest and Quickest" production ATV in the World. This "Raptor Killen", "Banshee Bustin", "DS650 Smoken", "Cannibal Eaten" ATV features a 250cc 2-stroke, single cylinder, case induction reed valve, 60HP, Liquid cooled engine. The KR250RR is an experienced rider only machine"

Interesting. They look just like the Kasea bikes. The 150 is the same old school honda engine, and the 200 looks like the old XR200 honda. The oddity is the 250 2-stroke. The bore and stroke is the same as the water cooled 250R. However, it only has a 5-speed and case induction. The only other engine that I know of that has this bore/stroke, a 5-speed, and case induction, is also a honda. The 98 and new CR250R engine has all of these. This engine has a electronic powervalve also. If this is real, and I am going to check next week to see if it is, I am going to to the bank.

I agree with you. 60HP does sound like alot, expecially for a stock 250 motor. It is hard to believe that it has more power than the current MX bikes. For all I know, these quads are the biggest pieces of crap ever made. Doesn't the case induction intake make the engine really pipey? My rm400 has a case induction motor and it is just like riding a 125cc mx bike on steroids. About the brake issue. Just like the rest of you, I can't believe they actually put drums on the front. I just thought it was interesting that someone else(that i've never heard of) is making a quad like this.

case reed problems were a very pipey power Honda sort of fixed it w/ the elec power valve and they are getting better but the have a boat load of money. There is also a 2 stroke I think TM might be wrong that uses case reed, I know it is one of the small Italian jobbers.
The only pics I see there are air cooler 4 storkes unless I am looking at the wrong thing. Also 60 hp??? come on the SX bikes are struggling to crank out 40-45 so there is no way this thing is doing 60.
