Has anyone had any problems with wobbly wheels? Out of the box, both of my Yamoto 150's have a front tire that wobbles as if the bearing pressed into it is not straight. I know its not from any damage I've done because this is something that I've noticed right after assembly...
I didnt notice any wobbling. but the stock front wheel bearings(as well as the ones in the rear axle carrier) were junk. Ok one of the fronts was good.

So far the wifes Yamoto has not had any bearing issues. I have checked the front wheel bearings and the carrier bearings and they are in good shape. For now I am going to keep an eye on them and see how long they last.

The problem I noticed with mine is the bolts are not centered and the carb sits on there crooked. Basically, when you put the air cleaner assembly back on you have to pull the carb assembly to the left and this broke the rubber housing. Mine is cracked near the bolt hole so it's very hard to get to with electrical tape.

Also, one of the engine mounts broke right near the berf bar. I had a problem with this bolt working loose so I put something else in their to strengthen it and I just noticed it broke off the casting and at the frame. I assume just from the torque of the motor. It's not ridden very hard.

When I was referring to electrical tape sealing the split in the rubber, I meant you have to take off the gas tank, then the carb, then remove the air intake assembly...then tape the piece. There is NO way you can put electrical tape over the crack without disassemblying the ATV. This really stinks but that's the only way. I have taken mine apart several times.

Seems to get easier after you do it a few times. Not a goal of mine, just something I noticed.

Unfotunately, I have had the carb off about 5 or 6 times. I cracked the front fender once trying to put it back on.

I am in need of some help again. The front sprocket is loose, and I can't figure out how to tighten it. Any help could be great.
I looked at my wifes yamoto and there is a bolt on the end of the shaft that holds the sprocket in place. I would guess that you should tighten that bolt.

My son has a 2004 Yamato 150cc. The bumper sits too low and catches on the trails. The first time he rode, he got the wind knocked out of him when he went over a rut. The second, the bumper caught another rut and he flipped his four wheeler. Luckily, he didn't break anything. Do you know if Yamato has a site to report this poor design?

Also, when you got your Yamato, did the front wheels turn in? My son's front wheels don't sit straight. I'm not sure if there's a special way to put on the tires or whether this is another poor design from Yamato? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could always adjust the toe in or toe out.
