I actually removed the air box completely and installed a K&N filter. I just shoot it directly at the filter. It only takes a shot or 2 and starts right up. This is a common problem with the 150.

The wifes Yamoto is running fine. Had it out in the snow, it was about 20 degrees.

Can I purchase wheel spacers somewhere for the 2004 Yamato 150? If so, where do I find them?

Raceway has them for the Yamoto and Kazuma/Redcat quads. Talk to John and he can set you up.

Raceway can be reached at www.raceway.com? Do you know off hand how much they run? Rocky Mountain ATV has them I think for $65.

There is currently an E-Bay auction for rear wheel spacers, item # 4594800226. It ends in 16 hours, but you can contact the seller and see if there are others, or check his other items for sale.

Hope this helps!

P.S. I live in DE, and have been lucky, but I have NEVER had trouble starting my ATV, and have never had any trouble with it either... I am VERY happy with my purchase. I also just bought a Redcat 50 for my 5 year old, and it has been great also.

The 2004 Yamoto ATV 150's had an automatic electic choke. The unit sucked pretty bad, and all of the new quads come with a manual choke. I believe Patriot sells a manual choke conversion for the older 150's. This helps cold weather startup tremendously on last years models. The older units had a single front a-arm setup, stiff suspension, no reverse, and a weak floorboard/footpeg setup. The new bikes are a hole lot better. I agree with one of the previous post about the Yamoto. You used to see a lot of post about them, but it was usually someone complaining. Now that their products are somewhat better, you don't see as many post about them. Usually these boards are more complaint boards than anything.

Thanks for the ebay site regarding the rear wheel spacers. If I get the rear wheel spacers, will I also need to purchase separate spacers for the front?

I hear it helps to have them all around. One thing I noticed about that ebay auction is the spacers are for a 4 bolt wheel. Are the yamoto atvs 4 bolt because the 110 and 150 redcats are 3 bolt. My 250 Kazuma is 4 bolt, so those would be cool for my big one.

According to a previous post, the yamato is 4 bolts. Can anyone confirm this? I have a 2004 Yamato 150cc.
