Well several hours on my Vbike all all is GREAT. Only problem out riding was the fuse holder just off the battery.
Question:
#1 Can someone help me understand the front shocks and the small resevior attached to them. What do these control and how does it affect the performance.
#2 Do the Jet Motos have an airbox for the airfilter or is the airfilter exposed

Also I have changed the oil on my Vbike 250V4 twice and both times it took just less than 1 quart.

Sawyer,

The shocks on the Kazuma's seem to be pretty decent and they have nice give to them, even a little rebounding. If they will fit your 110, then I would buy those and swap them out. I think you will like them.

Chungking,

I adjusted the toe in by sight. A good view for eyeballing it is to stand at the back of the machine and look forward and down at the wheels, you will see it pretty well. I toed mine in slightly while on a hydraulic jack so that when I sit down on it with some weight, they flatten out. Plus when they are toed in just a bit, you get better response on steering etc. (imo). I used a measuring tape (top and bottom) on the front wheels to adjust the in and out (same distance inside wall to inside wall on both top and bottom). For what is worth, on the fuse holder, I heated up some shrink tube over the whole holder after listening to you guys talking about it coming apart in your hands. It is sealed tight and now probably pretty water proof as well.

I wonder how the ops would feel about having a category just for Chinese ATV's only instead of lumping us all together.Just a thought who has some clout around here?

OUTOFLINE - I visited your web site and I must say!!! Looks like your have a great Off roading crew and a wonderful place to Go!

I noticed underyour mods and repair section, you Adjusted to turning stop on one of your quads.

My Vbike turns 2x tighter to the right than it does to the left. I see no other adjustment to make other than to trim a little off the stop. Have you had any problems with your "fixed" stop?? ChungKing

Thanks everyone for the posts and pics. I'm new to this forum and just took delivery of a vbike today. After a lot of research I decided to go for the vbike. I just brought it out to my polebarn and unloaded and uncrated it. I probably would have finished putting it together except unloading it by my self took more time then expected. Arrived witn a broken fender, bent and crimped skid plate, broken reflector and a number of nuts and bolts missing. A number of paint scrapes on the arms but overall the atv was in decent shape. The directions for assembly were of course for a different model so it was fly by the seat of your pnnts. I'm calling Tim tomorrow so I'll let you know how it goes.

Ya Sawyer I had commented to Kman many post/treads ago about Jets rear shock mount compared to the v. The Vbike is better situated then the Hibirds which if they (Hibirds) ride like the other Chinese quad I rode with the same shock setup they ride like a Pogo stick!

Jet either needs to be a lot better built for the price which I don't think they are or lower to compete with Vbike. I wish I had heard of Vbike back when I was looking, not even sure they were out then if so no one was taking about them!</end quote></div>

Price wise if you compared the jet 250 to the vbike 250 V5 which looks to have a more similar swing arm system for $1749.00 its not too far off from the jet's price. Even at that the Vbike doesn't come with an oil cooler or the same tires.
