Default running issues

i have 2 90cc t rex quads, i replaced reed valves in both of them, and the one ran great for about an hour or so. now the quad runs, but bogs down real bad when given the gas and will not pull no weight. any ideas?

Welcome to the forum buckeyeb!

Are there fuel filters on these machines? Also try loosening the fuel cap when it dies...lots of quads with non breathing caps..

i have changed the fuel filter and the problem remains, however once it starts, it runs great for about a minute now, and will not restart until u allow it to sit for a while, but still dies out after a minute....i am thinking maybe it is running out of fuel as if a fuel pump is not working, if it has one?

Can you see fuel in the filter when it dies?

Why did you replace the reed valves? and did they run good before replacing them?

i replaced the reed valves because the guy i bought them off of told me they were bad, once i replaced them in one of them, it ran great for a while....since it has stalled out, i have had issues with it. i do see fuel in the filter. i was there when he started them up, and this problem was there before the valves were replaced

Certainly wouldnt hurt to clean the carb and install a fuel filter if it doesnt have one.
