Nice, I am going to order one right now. I have a feeling it would work out. Maybe i'll get ambitious and pull it out of the shed this weekend.

I haven't heard from an inspector at motor vehicle or anything since sending the complaint in. Kind of just lost interest in the whole ordeal. Jim from Tank wrote to me after I told him the new head was deamaged and basically tried to pin it on shipping again. Problem is there are not broken pieces in the box and it was well packaged. He also told me he found a set of lenses he was going to be sending me that were not broken. Haven't seen them yet

Thats really good news..Id guess you should be able to rebuild the thing with Yamaha parts if needed..Very rare thing if you own a Chinese ATV.

yeah. its just nice knowing that if something breaks i can get it fixed. now i wont think twice about spending money on winches and plows. the person that fixed my quad said that the bottom end was basicly a yamee 400 big bear. but i think he said that the top end looked like something else i dont quite remeber what he said, i think a trx somthing.

This being post 248 and taking over an hour to read I am left sitting here wondering what happened?
It has been 8 months...
Do you still have the bike?
Did you get a refund?

Finish the story for us.

Now if you are involved in legal action no comment would be better than nothing

I was able to sell the quad and haven't looked back since. A refund with tank is non existent. The moral of the story is "you pay for what you get"

As long as this post was, it was informative.
It is good to see that ebay and PayPal were worthless. People assume they will protect the buyer, but usually that is not what happens.
I wonder if your credit card protection on future vehicle purchases would cover a problem like this?

Good report, sorry for all that happened. I would of been beyond aggravated!
I am only willing to spend $1,000 on Chinese quads. Over $1,000 and I am looking used for something more dependable. I now have 4 quads, and have already purchased 7 of them. I fixed 3 of them and sold them.
