Carb issue
#1
Have a new (25 miles) 500 UTV Husang-Massimo (from V-bikes). After running great for the first few weeks, it died, wouldn't start. Took carb off, took apart, cleaned all jets, reinstalled, it runs, but not consistent, and seems real rich, with no top end power, then dies. I am at 5,500 ft alt. A few questions:
1. When I reinstalled the jets, I put in all the way to tight, is there an adjustment for them (3 inside bowl)
2. Where is air/fuel adjustment on PD 36J-C carb?
3. Any thoughts on what I am missing?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum cotjjeeper!
1. No you cant tighten the jets to tight.
2. Most are on the bottom of the carb.
3. Are you still using the Chinese spark plug? do you have a fuel filter on the quad?

2. yes still using original spark plug, any suggestions on replacements, and should I replace?
3. Yes, two filters, both clean, getting good strong fuel flow.
THanks

Only seen 2 plugs used in Chinese quads..NGK C7HSA and D8ES Id guess you need a D8ES, but Im not sure..
All of the Chinese spark plugs Ive seen had either a 7 or a 8 on them and were the same physical size as either a C7HSA or a D8ES. The D series of plugs is larger than the C series.
