What problems? I just got through rebuilding my Eton 150

I found a service manual on-line through a link in one of these threads. The problem is there is NO carb details. I need to find the correct float height setting. The spring loaded needle is making this very strange, a 'normal' level float setting is way too low, which makes it go lean on the main, if it will run at all.

I am about to try it again today after setting the float where if you 'bounce' the carb while inverted the float will just barely touch the body. Hold it still and the needle spring is compressed and the float is not touching .

Hoping this cures it!

It's been a real PITA. I went as far as buying a NEW carb off eBay. Only $24, figured that should work. NOT, It floods and I am NOT about to tear into a brand new carb. I've sent the guy two emails requesting an RMA and my money back. If he doesn't follow through I'll just have to fill with eBay, they will give me my money. I saved all the emails back and forth about what's wrong with his 'new' carb.
