Carb issue
#1
I got a Eagle scout 125cc that I have had some issues with this issue was that after cleaning the carbs the float stuck and the filter (per say) had fuel coming out until I tapped the float bowl. I had to make up a filter until my filter comes in the mail.
I have a few pics for you to look at to let me know if something is missing i.e. lines.
Adjustment screw I turned out 2 full turns

Above the choke lever something that may be a leak and you can see my temperary filter until my filter arrives(a piece of underwear)it is yellow from the gas leak

underwear? TMI, TMI!!!!!! too much information!!!!! ewww, really, yellow? bwahahaha. should've used a sock, more layers for filtration on the micron size.
above the choke is that nozzle, put a small hose on it and get that pointed away from on top of the engine. that appears to be the overflow. so you don't want gasoline to come pouring out on top of the hot engine or you'll get hot legs quickly.

Thanks I figured it needed something when i cleaned the carb I blew some air into the bowl drain and air came out of that hole.
My son road it today for the first time and there was no oil leaking. My son having never rode one alone b4 leaned away from turn instead of into it and fell off.
I need to get carb adjusted it is running rich.
My other son was unable to get on his 110cc because I could not keep it running every time I let off gas it cut off.I held it for about 3 min and still no go. I am thinking that the gas may old and that is the problem and any ideas there would be useful.

yeah, like LT80 stated, on that 110. clean the carb, pull the jets and clean them. that should fix it up.

So I went out to the 110 cc this morning after adding seafoam to the tank yesterday and running it. Tried starting it and still no go so I adjusted the screw out some. THEN I NOTICED THE CHOKE LEVER JUST LIKE THE 125cc. I am an idiot. Jacked up the rear, cranked it with choke HA THAT WORKED DA. adjusted the screw after it warmed up to the point the back wheels did not turn at idle. so the 110 runs and no smoke.
Now to the 125cc. Adjusted the idle the same way but carb is spitting and engine revs up, throttle jumps to RPM's. I discovered that the temporary filter was allowing a lot of air in so I made a new one with 3 layer and that helped alot with the idle. I think I will need to wait until the filter arrives to make adjustments but when I do get it should I still just adjust the idle screw(what I call it 1st pic. the black arrow) I do not see any other adjustment screws.
