Default carb flooding after day of dusty riding

After a day of dusty riding my son's Taotao 125G is flooding gas out the over flow. How can I fix this by dropping the bowl only?

After trailering it back it was still leaking. I then opened and closed the throttle a couple times and it stopped leaking. Then I started it and it ran fine. I'll see how it runs today.

Keep the air filter clean. It shouldn't allow that much dirt into the carb. Several different air filters that can fit this machine. If you don't have a foam filter I'd get one if you ride in a lot of dirty conditions.TaoTao 125cc ATV Air Filters | TaoTao Air Filters | TaoTao Parts

It stopped leaking because it was almost out of gas. Today it was leaking after I put gas in. I then removed the carb and cleaned it thoroughly. It seems to run normally after that.

you got a fuel filter also? if not, get one in case your gas tank vent is letting dust inside.

OPT and Jaster knocked it out of the park. Good PM for any machine on those points.

The machine does have a fuel filter. It could probably use a new one though. I ended up having to take the carb off and apart and blow carb cleaner through all of the orifices I could see. After that it started up and has been running good since. In the bottom of the float bowl there were some (3-6) small pencil point sized particles. It was really easy to get the carb off this ATV since there is very little body work. I also changed the oil in case the carb flooding could have allowed gas into the oil supply. I'm not sure if that is possible or not.

oh yeah, a flooding carb can put gasoline past the piston right into the crankcase.
