I will get time to work on it tmrw and see if I can get the tranny to not engage the chain if she cranks up for me.
That rear end is what makes the quad heavy (imo)... also makes it feel heavy when you ride it.. having said that my Jetmoto 150 quad was the most popular in my no riding experience family members.. Everyone from my 72 yr old mom to my 8 yr old niece loved it...

Id pull the cvt cover off and watch stuff as it runs...

got the carburetor on. little massaging and she started up. once the idle was adjusted, I shifted it back n forth from fwd and reverse, using the brake to stop the rear tires between shifts(atv was on blocks in the rear). Few easy shifts and she is working great.I will finish buttoning up the loose ends tmrw and giver her a run thru the yard.

will not crank unless its turning the rear wheels.its dragging down the engine.
thought I had it until I put it on the ground.its wanting to walk with the compression

any suggestions because I had it cranking freely a few hours ago. I had the rear wnd on a block, front n rear brakes applied and she turned over strong n fired right up.
put the nose cover back on,buttoned up some loose ends and now nothing.will not start and the rear tires r moving again.
if I apply the rear brake lever, that chugs the engine down because its trying to stop the rear tirees from turning.
think im done for the day. ill take the cover off tmrw. not sure how long this thing has sat but everything on it still works. and its not weathered hardly any

no,the fender nose piece. previous owner didn't bolt down the gas tank and since I had to fix that,it was also easier for me to work on the carb.

OK.. Wanted to make sure you didnt have the cvt cover off. The cvt cover needs to come off so you can see what the pulleys are doing.

wanted to update this.
took the cover off and it was working fine.
more i messed with it better the atv got. once u locked down both brakes so it wouldnt walk off,it would start right up. had some bounce to it like it was wanting to run but after riding it and loosening years off sitting up,she is doing fine and the new owners are having a ball on it.
dont care for that weird design but this one was the fastest 150cc so far i have had here
