Bashan quad running bad bogging down when giving throttle
#1
Hi Everyone
I have a Bashan bs200-s7 ATV which is having a annoying problem for some time.
When I give throttle the quad bogs down. When I keep giving throttle while it is bogging it while cut off but when I release the throttle or give it choke I can continue riding. When playing a bit with the choke while driving I can still go around 40 mph.
The weirdest part about my problem is that when I am driving around for about 20 minutes the quad suddenly gets power and starts driving perfectly.
To fix this I have tried the following:
Adjusted valves
Removed the EGR valve
Cleaned carburetor
new fuel filter
new manifold
new spark plug cap
checked the wire ring
Does someone have any ideas?
greetings

The symptoms you describe are those of a weak mixture. I would clean the carb out again. The bit about it suddenly improving is a bit unusual though. Although you mention a new plug cap, you don't mention a new plug, if you haven't already, change that too.
