Hello, I am new to this form, I just recently purchased a 200cc sunL water cooled used. and i went through it, cleaned the carb checked spark and fuel. all good. The issue is it wont even attempt to start not even with starter fluid. Any ideas to help out would be amazing. Trying to figure this out without tearing into the top end. Thank you in advance

 

Do a compression test, should be at least 90psi. Check the T mark on flywheel and actual top dead centre by the piston agree, by watching through the plug hole. Check the T mark and timing mark(s) on cam agree, or cam can be 180 degrees out, either are correct.
