Will Prairie 700 fit in my pickup?
#1
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad cab with a 6' 3" bed. I had a Honda Rancher that just fit in my bed with the gate closed. I'm looking to purchase a Prairie 700 twin in camo but i noticed the length is longer than my honda. Does anyone know if it will fit in a 6' dodge bed with the gate closed?
Also, any other input on that specific machine would be greatly appreciated since I still haven't purchased it.
How does $7100 sound for the camo machine? Is that high?
Thanks

Howdy,
I haul my 650 in a short bed extended cab GMC with a tool box behind the cab. I use a Louisiana Guard dog and it has about an inch of clearance on the tool box. I would reccomend the dog as you will never need a tiedown strap and the quad can be locked in the truck. Have a goodun!!!!!

As most have said, you will likely need to leave the tailgate down, but it will fit. Maybe if you have little 25" tires and let the air out it will fit, but it will be awfully close to that rear glass.... I plan on a guard dog too, whenever they decide to get off their butts and build my Cummins....

Mine is a Cummins, it's worth the wait. There are a lot of mods that you can do to really get you HP's up with a cummins. The engine has tremendous potential if you have the $$'s.
