Default Mojave shock adjustment

I recently went ridin at Flat river in Missouri and after riding my mojave awhile i decided that my shocks were really stiff. landing jumps was kinda painful at times. I hate to mention the 300ex in this forum but i would like to make the suspension perform like it off of jumps. In other words i want a softer ride. Do i need to loosen the shocks to make it softer or tighten them. If not possible, then what shocks do i need to put on this bad boy to make it softer on my *** when i land a jump.

Also i heard that a 250R shock bolts right up. How much do those cost?

Also i just got some new tires, they are called strykers, kinda like a wooley booger with turf **** on the outside. they are 22x11-10s, a little wider than stock and then im puttin on a 13 tooth front sprocket.

then one day a pipe and jets...

this will be a machine when i get done.

i would look for some Works or Elkas for the front...but the 250R rear shock will fit on the rear of the mojave with a little mod to the spacers

rolsmojave3,

works or elkas huh? i will look at them. As for the 250R rear shock...how hard is it to mod it? Also do you know how the mojo will perform with stock tires and a 13 tooth front sprocket?

the 13 and stock tire will pull the bottom end away a little but not too bad...just harder to wheelie when going slower...you just have to grind off the spacers on the bottom shock mount to make it work

Do you know how much they cost....that might be a good winter project for next year. I cant find anything on them on the net. Do they have a website? I would love to get this thing hopped up a bit so i can run with some of the big dogs.
