I was curious.I was going to line x or rihno liner my outside ring on the baja rims. And i was curious how you guys think it would hold.Sure would make it cool looking.I like it when ds's are all blacked out.I need opinions and im to lazy to take it down to a shop to get it powdercoated.Im going on a trip to ride in about a week.So im in a kinda hurry.

Why not it would work on im sure if it would be as tough as powder but it will be heavy. You can take that to the bank

AZ is on to something with the weight thing. Most of the mods I have done are to reduce retating mass. I wouldn't want to add to it... I would get rid of the Baja rims even, but I ride dunes only so I have a different perspective on the Baja rim. The other thing is that stuff does not go on totally evenly. It could throw your wheel out of balance if they don't get it on there right. I would just get the powder.

You dont wanna add weight to the rotating mass......specially with the already heavy baja rims. Powder coat is the way to go.

Weight issue aside, truck lining will start to look like crap in a hurry. You might like the looks of it at first but believe me it will fade, chip, crack over time. Powdercoating would hold up better in my opinion.
