Does anyone know what you have to do to make the engine quit cutting out in reverse. Ive noticed other 4x4 have a button you can push to disengage the rev limiter or what ever it is.

I have gotten stuck a few times and it really pisses me off when your trying to backup full bore and the engine just sits and starts to sputter.

Not sure, I think it's probably in the (magneto?) ignition system. I'd like to disable mine too, so that I get more top-end speed. My rev-limiter keeps my top end at about 51 or 52 MPH!

Sorry theres nothing that you can do, it was designed that way due to the belt drive and haveing a centrifical clutch drive train. That was a big question mark for me when i test drove it, i bought that new Honda Rubicon instead no cutting out at all. Every Atv owner should do them selves a favor and test drive this machine it will change the way you think about the other machines as far as the transmission verses belts, and gears. This will be the bench mark for the other to follow for years to come.
