Clutch disengages at 45MPH on my 04 AC 650..
I have no problems under 45, but the moment the bike hits 45 it acts like the clutch totally disengages and the engine free spins (revs up). I have to let off gas and then once I hit 37 or so, the clutch will re-engage. I had this problem the first time I took the bike out but after about an hour of riding in low gear, I tried it again in High Gear and it went away. But now the problem has reappeared after about 100 miles of riding. Any ideas? I dropped it off at the dealer today.. Not sure when they'll look at it.

My 650 did the same thing. Its not the clutch its in the linkage. When you put it in high range its going to far in gear. You have to adjust i=the linkage under the seat. Try holding down on the linkage a little and see if its ok. If its still doing then go the other way. Then adjust the linkage the way it stays in. Go to arcticchat.com they talk about it there.
