The lugs on the 589 are bigger and there is less of them, therefore less resistance to turning when you are on hardpack.

What kinda ITP wheels did you get? I got the normal offset silver steel wheels and after some fitting it looks like I have less clearance between the wheels and the shocks, and between the boot guards and the wheels with The ITP wheels than the stockers up front.

Do you have boot guards?

Do your Front tires rub on the shocks when turning hard? Do they rub on the boot guards?

The reason I ask is because I have 4 27x12x12 Tri_claw magnums waiting to be put on then ITP wheels and I'm starting to think I might HAVE to get spacers cause of the close clearances.

I have the normal steel painted silver wheels. I haven't noticed any rubbing and no I don't have cv boot guards. I don't really like the wheels, the offset is so that you have to adjust in the foot brake otherwise it will rub. Also the valve stems are in a bad spot, I think it would be easy to break one off, especially on the rear wheels. The original AC wheels have the stem mounted in the towards the center of the wheel, in a much better location. I didn't really notice it until this weekend when I was parked next to a stock set of wheels. If I keep the wheels I am going to weld a protector around the stem. Aczr2k

What adjustment are you talking about on the front brakes? I know you are suposed to adjust the manual foot brake on the rear, but I have never herad anything about the fronts.

Yes you have to adjust the foot brake not the front brakes. Aczr2k
