Vampires for '05 400 LE

My buddy just bought a '05 400 LE and wanted to know if Vampires 27x10, 27x12 would ride well. Any comments?
He has a chance to get'em new for $200 plus OEM tire trade in.

I think 27's are too big for a 400.
They will work and probably drive nicely
but he does not have the power to turn
them. JMHO

He could try them. If he didn't like them I'm sure he could easily sell um and get his $200.00 back. That's a good price. He'd probably be better of with 26" though.
