How do you get the airbox and filter cleaned up enough to get the AC650 with 122 F/R jets up to the point that a Prairie 650 is at stock 138/142 F/R?
Does the AC650 also need the .025" shim mod on the needles like the p650 does?
I am just trying to keep things interesting between two of my friends AC650's and my Prairie.
Thanks

removing the air box lid is not an option as we do a lot of water crossings, I guess something was available like the Napa or DG intake hose mod that my prairie can use would help, I am looking for some insight. The exhaust looks pretty similar (well the muffler anyway) to the prairie. What is the difference (besides jetting) in the carbs?

The stock snorkle starts out at around 2" and restricts to 1.5" inlet. Rip it off and put a 2" ID 90 degree PVC elbow on the "stub" sticking out of the airbox. Then you can rejet up to Prairie sizes. VDI snorkle kit

I would suggest 145fr/147r.Depends on your elevation,if you are under 1500' this will get him where he wants to be.IMO
I suppose he could jet down to let you feel better about your lowrider, don't want to beat you at everything.Handling on roads is the only place the kawi is better,I have a car for that.
