Clutch Kit for 700?
#1
Any one know if the clutch kits for the King Quads will fit the 700? Are the belt drives the same? And if they will fit who make the best clutch kit and why? Also what tools will be needed to install a clutch kit?
Thanks for all the help. I know nothing about cluthes on these automatics.

The transmission and clutch assembly on the 700 AC are the same as the King Quad. A clutch kit for the KQ should work on the AC. There are several options, I'd just do a web search for ATV clutch kits.

We are currently working on a kit for the cats. I do believe the KQ and cats are the same or very close too. For tools it depends on whats in the kit. The only special tool you should need would be a secondary clutch compression tool for secondary spring swap.

I'm very satisfied. We just got back from Black Mountain Recreation Park after doing over 160 miles on the trails. It has 700 miles and the only thing I've had to do was use some plastic zip-locks to stop the inner fenders from vibrating. Having a set of Maxxis Bighorns installed tomorrow. That should keep it anchored on the trails.

Yeah I realy like my 700 also. And as AC700 said I also need to do somthing about the inner fenders vibrating, other than that I really love it. Tons of power, great handling.

I'm glad y'all are enjoying your ac700. Keep us informed over time how things go. I hope AC starts making most of their motors like their H1. That would be great. I know some people say the H1 doesn't have the top speed they want, but the bottom and mid range torque is awesome and that is what a utility quad like AC builds needs. AC is the hummer of quads and I mean that in a very good way. Again, glad y'all like the new 700ac.
