tranny problems with arctic cats?
#12
I had one problem with my 500 auto drivetrain. About two months after I got it, we were riding in some very tall and thick grass fields. I somehow got a wad of weeds wrapped oround the driveshaft and they tore the seal to the rear diff. It was replaced under warranty, and have not had any more problems with it.

Either way, you can see that Arctic Cat has had a hell of a track record for just making quads for as few years as they have. They certainly are making a bold representation of quality.
In my opinion, the Bearcat 454 (especially 2wd) was a disaster. Good idea, but not finished out. They fixed the steering, brakes, and carb problems within a year, and everything 1998 and on has been excellent. If they could give you a 60mph top speed, they would start winning shootouts I think. Look at the grizzly, really all it has going for it is the speed, cause its not even as good a quad as the kodiak.
