Question 2005 500 4x4 automatic question

Hi,
New here and new ATV owner. Recently purchased a 2005 AC 500 auto. I was able to find and download a repair manual but have not been able to find an owners manual or, at the very least a maintenance schedule. Can anyone on here help me out??

Default AC

Can't really say if it has hill problems as we are pretty flat here. I am a Harley (Vrod) rider and use the AC almost like a tractor to work around the house--and I think it is GREAT. From what I've read that is what they are really meant for. My impression is if you want speed and handling--get a Japanese ATV. BTW: the Vrod does NOT have any problems on hills

Cool

Buying an ATV is like buying a car. You get great ones...........and LEMONS.

One BIG thing to consider is that most on-line forums are basically set-up to help people with any PROBLEMS they are experiencing with their particular brand of machine. So yes....your going to get alot of complaining and bad feedback, but also people willing to share their knowledge about that brand and the experience(s) of owning one.

AC quads are definately NOT for everyone. ....but they suit me & my family just fine. Why??:
1. local dealer -A++
2. built in USA
3. looks/size
4. IRS suspention w/awesome ground clearance
5. selectable 4LOC 4x4 w/L range
6. versatility (2-UP/speedrack system)
7. easy to work on if needed (ROOM to get to stuff!!)
8. simple...not complicated or loaded up with un-necessary "whizz-bang" gizmos

The result - Now I have machines are are incredibly capable trail machines, & double as durable work-horse(s) too. Do they have drawbacks? - YES.......but it still didn't stop me from buying 3 of them....

OK. I agree that the AC is a really great machine. BUT, can anyone help me with my original post???? I would really appreciate some leads to an operator's manual.

Thanks,

Vrod

If you have a repair manual why would you want the ,thin as as a Ethiopian cook book, owners manual that only tells you how to start the ATV up and turn it off at most?

Oh, the owners manual also has safety tips like, don't kiss the motor after a long ride.
