Default Electrical Problem

I have a 2002 Arctic Cat 400, about a week ago I was riding trails with my buddies. As the day progressed I noticed I would have to hit the starter button a few times until it would turn over, clicking with every press. Eventually, the button would not work anymore, was still clicking, and I had to start it by jumping the starter solenoid with a pair of pliers. So far I have checked the fuses and changed the relay. Any ideas?

Before putting parts in it have the battery load tested... A bad battery can have some strange effects

+1 to what zrock said and I know you said you changed the relay, but still sounds like a started relay.
Plus remember...if you still heard it clicking, the button was still working.

The battery passed the load test. I traced the wiring and found a split wire going to the foot pedal switch. I proceeded to repair the wiring and it starts just fine.
