I saw the problems post...just wanted to add my woes here.

99 AC 250 2X4...worked fantastic, loved it.
got a bit hard to start when it was cold.
wouldn't idle after stream crossings
dealer had no clue, wanted to clean the carb after i told him i did
went home & cleaned the carb AGAIN, no luck
turned out to be the intake valve, no big deal..had to adj twice now
front end got loose...brakes wore out
when replacing brakes, found lots of trouble
replaced front bearings, seals, upper ball joints, & spindles
left side rear has play too...maybe right side bearing in engine too

Anyone else had to replace all this after 18 months??

Tracy in central PA
Going on a poker run anyway, gonna run the rear loose!

I have an Arctic Crap 250, and hate it. It is going to break down no matter what, like mine. Another thing, don't listen to Boner because he owns an Arctic Cat dealership and will say nothing but good things about them.

Gosh Boner You must be the youngest Cat dealer in the Country. Corndung says you own one. Funny I thought you just worked there part time.

That cornhole has a lot of straight dope or else he is a one. I know he's not over about 13 years old, but he's wise beyond his time, and smart too. Or maybe just a smart***.

Yea, I never would have thought I could own an Arctic Cat dealership at 17 years old. Who would have thought?

I had to replace the spindles because the rear seal had worn grooves in them.
